The problem with cheapest is it's not always the best solution.

7912 is end of sale, so next up would be a 6921/6945 but those are not my favorite. Which puts you into a 7945, which is worth the money.   7945 is really a solid performer with a proven track record for the money.

PS Which one of headaches did the 3905 give you? And what platform are you using (CME, UCM, etc) ?

We could spend all night playing poker when it comes to models/features/bugs.
