[cisco-voip] Fwd messages to distribution list messages do not go through.

My client has a generic user called puppy, in Exchange we have set the users account  to forward all messages to a Distribution List.  Cisco messages do not go through. This use to work at some point does anyone have a direction to point me in or towards.
