[cisco-voip] Display and ASCII Display ? Why fill any ASCII values in 2013?

You need them.

Things like call pickup notification use the ASCII alertingname.

Also a neat feature is when the locales are different then it automatically shows the ASCII to the other phone.

Display - This field supports internationalization. If your phone does not support internationalization, the system uses the text that displays in the Label ASCII field.
