[cisco-voip] Sip trunk origination question

If you have the Run on All Nodes checkbox checked on the trunk, then
depending on which subscriber received the call, that's the subscriber that
will use the SIP trunk. This is called the Route Local rule.
E.g.,
Phone A is reg'd to Sub01 and Phone A calls PSTN, then Sub01 will send the
SIP INVITE over the SIP Trunk.
Phone B is reg'd to Sub02 and Phone B calls PSTN, then Sub02 will send the
SIP INVITE over the SIP Trunk.
However, if you do not have the Run on All Nodes checkbox checked on the
trunk, then the Trunk's list of Subscribers in the Device Pool's
CallManager Group is used in one of two ways to determine which subscriber
the SIP INVITE comes from:
Way 1: If the calling device is reg'd to a Subscriber within the CMG of the
Trunk, then that Subscriber sends the SIP INVITE. This also the Route
Local rule being applied.
Way 2: If the calling device is reg'd to a Subscriber *not* within the CMG
of the Trunk, then the Subscriber which sends the SIP INVITE is randomly
selected from the CMG.
E.g.,
For both ways, assume the trunk's DP has the two Subs in it: Sub01 and
Sub02.
Phone C is reg'd to Sub03 and Phone C calls PSTN, then a random select will
occur between Sub01 and Sub02 to send the SIP INVITE over the SIP Trunk.
