Yes, the CUCM software bundled with the BE6k is the same software as in standalone CUCM.   The deployment type is CUCM in both cases.

Can I upgrade from CallManager 8.6 to BE6000 running CallManager 9.1?

I don't think I can do a DRS restore on BE6000 of their old CallManager 8.6? Can I ?  Is that supported?

I'm thinking I can use Bulk Administration > Export to move a lot of existing data from 8.6 to 9.1.
