I've done it with a BAT export then import and that worked well. It looks like you can get CUWL PRO demo licenses off the license portal now too.

Subject: [cisco-voip] building a lab server from production data - potential steps

I'm hoping that we can build a lab server from our production server without too much trouble. Here's what I was thinking:

  * take a snapshot backup of our CallManager v9.1(2)SU1 6 server cluster
  * build a new publisher off line
  * restore the off line publisher with production data (selecting only publisher for restore)
  *   delete all the subscribers
  * change the IP address and host name of the publisher
  * delete all but a handful of phones
  * bring test pub into online network
  * establish connection between test pub and elm

Thoughts?
