Your internal endpoints won't use encrypted media without the secure profile but if you don't care about encryption inside the network and only for internet endpoints then don't worry about it.

At MRA deployment guide... in "Automatically generated zones and search rules" section it says:

" and a TLS zone is created also if the Unified CM node is
configured with a Cluster Security Mode (System > Enterprise Parameters > Security Parameters) of 1
(Mixed) (so that it can support devices provisioned with secure profiles)."

i know it is not a step, but i though it was necessary to put the cluster security mode to mixed...

if it is not necessary i will continue the implementation without changing this

Thanks!

I never changed the cluster to mixed mode. It should still be in non-secure mode.

What doc mentioned that?

Where do you see this? I don’t recall the step and didn’t do it on my test bed and everything is working that I have tested. Now I’m curious.

Hello all,

First time configuring MRA here...

There is a step that i need to change the "Cluster Security Mode" to "Mixed".

What are the impacts of this change?

I mean, all my registered phones are non-secure, and i want them to stay as non-secure... will something change for them?

Thanks,
