[cisco-voip] getting the E20 to work on CUCM [RESOLVED]

Turns out, the pkg file works. I just needed to go through the wizard and click "register". For some reason, it did everything else automatically, except actually register.

Weird.

I've unboxed an E20 we had in storage, hoping to get things working. It's currently at 2.1.0.

In the release notes, v4.1.0 only had one set of software, two "dot pkg" files, one encrypted, one not, saying that this would allow me to connect directly to CUCM.

Starting with v4.1.1, it separates them out to two sets of software, a "dot pkg" set and a "dot cop" set.

v4.1.0 was deferred for security issues.

I'm wondering, if I just upload v4.1.0 onto the thing, it should be enough to connect to CUCM directly. Then I can upgrade it directly from CUCM after I've had a chance to install the COP file onto the TFTP server.

Thoughts?

Lelio
