It requires a reboot of the pair and forces it on the one you are doing it on, I can’t remember any other issues besides the certs regenerate and that only matters if you are using certs now which sounds like you aren’t.

Subject: [cisco-voip] UCCX 9 domain change

Good morning!

Has anyone changed the domain name (not hostname) on a UCCX v9 HA cluster, and if so were there any gotchas involved? Did this operation force a reboot? So far from the docs all i can find is that "set network domain" is supported after install.

I don't see the domain name listed as a field that the license mac is derived from, and i'm not changing my primary DNS server so I'm hoping that will stay the same.

I'm getting some DNS domains organized now in preparation for Finesse and CUIC so we can get some signed certs.

Thanks!

Ed
