[cisco-voip] Unity user parameters greyed out

There should be an SU3 with a fix for this near the end of the year. If you need a fix fast, then go with the ES. Good luck!

CSCuv04411 is only available in an ES right now. So TAC will have to get you the ES. If you un-ldap, change, and re-ldap, it will get set back to the original value. The guy I would ask about when this fix would be in an SU isn’t online yet. Will check with him in a bit.

What is the best course of action at this point? get the ES and apply. just un ldap the user and change and then ldap them back? does SU2a fix it? if not, TAC case to get the ES?

TIA

Scott

The fix is required after someone got a little too aggressive on the fix for CSCuq64344, which was applied in 10.5.2 and why you are seeing the problem after an upgrade.

Ryan,

Can you unicast me your case number? I will have it looked at by our escalation team since it seems to be affecting multiple customers.

I have this same issue currently with my 10.5.2 cluster su1. LDAP integrated users have the LDAP status greyed out as well as extension, etc. I have a TAC open as I'm sure it's a bug, but I had luck in the short term by using BAT to fix it. Exported users in CSV, modified, then updated.

If it is not from an LDAP integration, it maybe from an AXL integration. You could get a COBRAS snapshot of the account (to get the recorded name and messages ... etc). Then delete the account and restore.

I have users from our first install a few years ago that have parameters greyed out like LDAP integration. Is there a way to fix this verses deleting the mailbox and re-creating it ?

Thanks
