[cisco-voip] Integrating with Audio / Video Systems?

Hello,

We have a site with a pretty basic CME setup.

The staff has mentioned that they were interested in having caller ID
displayed on a larger display .I just wanted to see if people have looked
into this and what they found and if they deployed something what the
feedback is.

The site has a couple TV's used for displaying some internal stats and
they were initially asking if there was a way to have the caller ID come in
as a overlay onto those TV's since they are there already. If overlay is
hard to do then a display dedicated to this might be better than nothing in
the short term.

In researching so far I've found some devices/adapters that were really too
expensive for such a simple use, or I've found some references that were a
bit dated that talked about doing overlay but with really legacy video
ports like RCA and COAX which is not ideal.

This site also has a multi room sonos + speakers and the topic has come up
a few times about somehow tying in the phones and the speakers so that they
can hear the rings over the speakers but also pause the music when the
phone rings.

If anyone has any products or experiences to share would be interested to
hear about it on or off list.

Thanks!
chris
