[cisco-voip] HA CUBE (ISR G2) / Encrypted HSRP

I have a client with a working HA CUBE deployment.

The solution has been deployed following the instructions in the Cisco
Tech-Note:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/voice-unified-communications/unified-border-element/112095-cube-hsrp-config-00.html

They have asked whether it's also possible to secure HSRP communication
between routers using MD5 authentication.

Whilst this is obviously technically possible there is no mention of it in
the tech-note or associated documentation.

Has anybody setup HA CUBE and applied further HSRP settings above and
beyond the above guide?

Furthermore will this be a TAC supported deployment?

Thanks in advance.
