Hi Ryan,

This has now been sorted, the issue was related to the Voice Vlan missing from the switchport. unfortunately, this is managed by someone else.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Regards

Costas,

This usually would come about (as Stephen mentions) when the phone either does not get a TFTP definition from DHCP or, is not able to communicate to the TFTP definition that it did get.

Its certainly an option, I will look into it. The site where the phones work ok, they have existing Cisco users. The new site don't.

Sounds like the new Spark registration (aka Service Mode) is kicking in automatically.

Is it possible there is no DHCP Option 150 set?

Kind Regards

Hi all,

Has anyone come across this? I have some Cisco 8845 phones, when I connect them to the network at one site, the camera activates and asks me for an Activation code, either scan a QR code or enter one in manually. But when I am at another site, no issues at all, registers as it should. Something is blocking the config file or something like that.

Any Ideas?

Regards
