Thanks for the Link.

 

Is the SRV record “_xmpp-client._tcp.”  Required for the federation to happen?   

 

I haven’t gotten that far yet for a packet capture.   That’s next.

Also how far do you see the federation attempt getting.  Got a packet capture from the Expressway?

I verified that Security mode is “TLS optional” client side Cert is “off” and privacy mode is “off” too on my vcs-e serer

 

I have no issue federating with others.
