[cisco-voip] 88XX Soft Reset

Hi Jon,

The modern equivalent of a soft reset for the 88xx series is as follows:

Key:Applications|Key:KeyPad5|Key:KeyPad4

i.e. Applications > 5 > 4 > 1 (Reset Device)

I’ve attached a screenshot of the final page, as you can see there are a few reset options, including number 5 that erases the ITL/CTL file.

Is there soft reset key press sequence on the Cisco 88XX (8841/8851) Devices.

I remember that there was the **#** key press on the 7940/7940 devices. is there a similar on for these newer phone models?
