Thanks for the heads up.

Let us know if it breaks anything else like MRA again…

Cisco has posted a new version of 8.11.4 today... so, VCS is available again.

Ah yes, very good point as well. That is certainly a risk, and would require calling TAC to have them provide the files.

My biggest issue with this is backup/restore and DR. If they remove a version and for whatever reason, my library is corrupted, I need to match versions to restore. We know this is the case with UCOS platforms – I’m guessing it’s the same with expressway.

Yep, I’m on v8.10.4 as well, and didn’t know this but this version from what I can now see is no longer on their site.

Not sure what’s going on, but it’s not good.

I have had very good luck with 8.10.4... was going to do an upgrade last night and all I could find was language packs...

Yep, the Expressway code, CUCM, IM&P, and Jabber software are all really messed up right now. They’re trying to force out new features like multi-line, persistent group chat on mobile, APNS, multi device support, etc… As a result though they’re breaking prior working features and also bringing back regression bugs. They’re releasing Expressway code then pulling it from the site. There’s no gold Star software for the Expressway that I can see either.

It’s very unsettling to see the current state of affairs with the Expressway software in particular since the issues are very user impacting.

There is a security advisory that just came out. From my understanding they were all pulled and fixed images will be posted soon.

Where did Cisco move the upgrade tarballs?

The main link now only has language packs for 8.10 and above...

Do they have to be ordered via PUT?
