Dose your scenario fit any of the following:
A.) The mailbox for the user could not be found because the email address is not correct (spelled wrong.. etc)?
B.) The email address is for a distribution group, which is not a true mailbox?
C.) The mailbox is configured to use an Exchange Online profile but the user's mailbox is located in Exchange on-premises?
A is correctable, but o365 unified messaging in Unity Connection with B or C won’t work.
