[cisco-voip] 8800 w/ USB External Sound Card

We’ve had use cases where a professor wants to interview someone for their class and pipe the audio into the classroom.

I’m going to try a simple boundary mic, which should be fairly good. The prof might have to do some mute magic, ie half duplex conversation, but that should be ok.

I’m guessing that the AV team can easily match mic output with the appropriate plugs and/or impedance and maybe use a system mute button instead. OR, echo cancellation if available.

Looks like it works!

Tested headset port on USB device. Will try rca ports when I find my patch cords.

Then I will see if echo cancellation works.
