Cisco docs are fairly straightforward. I changed the IP's of our 3.1(4b) CM pub
& sub, all gateways, and phones about six months ago. Relatively
painless. I used a network IDS to monitor traffic that was being sent to the old
IP's to ensure that everything was working. Oddly, the CM boxes were trying to
communicate with *each other* via their old IP's. After checking hosts, LMHOSTS,
DNS, etc., it turned out that there was a tiny legacy service that's still part
of our version of CM that actually stored the IP addresses in the registry, and
those didn't get changed during the upgrade. As I recall, the service wasn't
actually doing anything though.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>
