again many thanks but in this case i have to continue asking. Is the h323-gateway bind srcaddr command not sufficient for the address binding? Have you seen any documentation on Cisco that explains all these h323 related commands a bit more detailed than the command reference?

Gateway command globally disable or enable RAS functionality but "h323-gateway

Hi,

how do I prevent a H.323 Gateway to register with a Gatekeeper (don't have any
in my network)? Due to the network config I need to have the h323-gateway
interface and h323-gateway bind srcaddr commands and I reckon that they are
responsible for the automatic registration attempts with a (in my network)
inexsistant Gatekeeper. To prevent my multicast RP log from filling up with
error messages I want to switch of the registration mechanism.

Is there a command that helps me to do that ? (already found 'no h323
gatekeeper', but my IOS doesn't let me use it:
C2800NM-SPSERVICESK9-M/12.3(11)T2)
Otherwise I probably have to filter out the 224.0.1.41 packets on the interface.

Any help is apreciated.
