<DIV>Interesting perspective.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I was always under the impression that although phone A could not call
phone C, if phone A could call phone B and phone B could forward to phone C,
then phone A could get to phone C by phoning phone B which is forwarded to phone
C.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I'm pretty sure phone A doesn't need to be able to dial the destination of
phone B's forward, whether voicemail or not.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I was thinking the vm pilot CSS is used for multitennant functions so that
one vmpilot is used across an area but is actually forwarded to different
voicemail systems.</DIV>

spaces for voicemail pilots</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>I believe the css on the voicemail pilot is used to place the
forwarded<BR>call to the voicemail system. For instance, let's say phone
A cannot<BR>place a call directly to the voicemail system based on its
css<BR>assignment. If phone A calls phone B and the call rings no answer
to<BR>voicemail system, the call will be successfully forwarded as long as
the<BR>vm pilot's css is able to call the voicemail system. If the
pilot's css<BR>is set to <none>, the calling party's css is used, and in
the example<BR>above, phone A would not be able to leave a message for phone
B. <BR> <BR>I don't know if the pilot's css is appended to the
calling phone's css<BR>or if it replaces it.<BR> <BR><BR>Kris
