So do you just connect the TTY device to an ATA or VGXXX and publish that number as the TTY number in the phone book?<br>
<br>
What happens if someone calls your main number? Can you transfer the call to the TTY extension?<br>
<br>
Thanks-<br><br><div><span class="gmail_quote">On 8/2/05, <b class="gmail_sendername">Lelio Fulgenzi</b> <<a href="mailto:lelio@uoguelph.ca">lelio@uoguelph.ca</a>> wrote:</span><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="border-left: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204); margin: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0.8ex; padding-left: 1ex;">
<div>Currently, we have them put a request to our local LEC/PSTN carrier. They
get long distance at half price and are assured of connectivity during a power
outage. I tested the new and old TTY devices on both the ATA and VG248 without a
problem. However, we might move this to our emergency PBX so that they will
always have connectivity. </div>
