installation disks expect a certain disk size according to the model of the
server and that's it. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>Now, that doesn't mean you can't add disks into the slots and
use those as storage devices, but any backup/restore process will ignore those
disks. Will the TAC ask you to remove those disks when troubleshooting? Perhaps.
The extra disks can be used to store any installation files, logs, etc I would
presume.</FONT></DIV>
