We are considering using SOAP/AXL to allow users access to
functions such as forwarding their phone, modifying their forward targets etc.
Although the CCMuser pages are there, they don't do everything we'd like to do
and they do certain things we don't want to do, i.e. service subscription. They
also don't do some of the things as nicely as we would like them done, e.g. a
list of 10 MAC addresses rather than phone descriptions for associated devices.
The other key ingredient here is our portal project - we basically want to make
the phone a channel someone can select to include in their portal
view.
