Problem is that the volume is (much) louder for those calling from offcampus
than oncampus. Haven't found a solution yet - would love it if there is a

<P><FONT face=Tahoma size=2>I got strange one here. One of my users
complained that when he calls our main number and asks to be transferred to
another employee, he hears two or three beeps when the receptionist transfers
his call. The problem isn't the beeps itself, but the loudness of the
beeps. I was able to duplicate this issue on my phones, but on my lab
phones, it does not do that.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma size=2>Does anyone know where to find this "beep" setting
when callers are transferred?</FONT> </P>
