<DIV><FONT size=2>We had a building that we had to upgrade to VOIP but did not
have a chance to upgrade the wiring to Cat5e standards. With things set to auto,
the port and nic would negotiate to 100FULL but things would fail because the
wire could not support the b/w. By setting the ports to 10/half, the phones
would auto-negotiate the speed and default to half-duplex. Unfortunately, a port
will not auto-negotiate duplex when the other side is manually set, so the ports
have to be set to half. Or so we found anyways.</FONT></DIV>

10M Full mode: CSCdz65458. Maybe it is the 10M that is messing you up.
