so long as it works you will be fine, but if it doesn't you will have a
burnt pizza box. I've seen several cases of this. No way to know what
the load was that toasted the box, but the high rate of occurrence
leads me to believe it's a pretty low threshold.<br>

The vg248 does not comply to Bellcore specs for off premise
extensions. i.e. it doesn't have overload protection. the vic-2 and
vic-4 FXS modules for routers do have proper overload protection to
minimize damage.<br>
