extensions. i.e. it doesn't have overload protection. the vic-2
and vic-4 FXS modules for routers do have proper overload protection to

the elements on their analog ports? We have a few emergency poles on our
campus that get hit by lightning a few times a year, and where we understand
there will be some replacement parts necessary, we don't want this thing
travelling down the wirepath to our vg248 and blowing that thing
