<br>I have a cisco router configured for dot1q trunking [data vlan (VLAN1) +
voice vlan(VLAN2)] on fastethernet0/0 interface. This interface is going to
connect to a switchport in the catex500. which role should I assign in
the catex500 config? router? switch?
<br><br>How much as I try different roles I never manage to see the attribution of more than one vlan in the trunk between the switch and the router. I think the switch should recognize the 802.1Q configuration on the router side. Don't know what else to try.

<br>In this same switch I am going to connect a CCM. Once again which role should be assigned to it? ip phone + desktop? server? other?
