i am running 12.3.14T7 spservices early deployment ios on a 2811 router
(but i also faced the same problem with other non deferred 12.3 ios in
2801 routers).<br>
-There are 4 BRIs on that router. <br>
-The <i><b>show isdn status</b></i> shows that Layer 1 is <i><b>DEACTIVATED</b></i>.<br>
-The <b>show dialplan number xxxx</b> does not match any dialpeer </tt><tt>(even
though there are 4 dialpeer pots, one for each voice-port)</tt><tt> and
so i cannot have any outside call <br>
-When i issue the command <i><b>isdn test call interface bri 0/x/x
<number></b></i>, the interface status gets up (<b>Layer 1 also</b>)
and the router's dialplan is working now with no problem. Even the
command <i><b>show dialplan number xxx</b></i> shows the match to each
dialpeer now,<br>
-After a while, the Layer 1 gets deactiveted and the dialpeer fail to
match again and so i do not have outside calls!!<br>

Is this a bug of the new IOS? I don't think that this behaviour occured
at oldest IOSs<br>
