Ok now that i've had a chance to pop one in the lab, here's
what I found:

- EIGRP support has been recently added to the feature
set for the VG224 IOS.
- As stated, you can bind int L0 to sccp
- You
can use the MAC address for int f0/0 to configure the voice ports in
callmanager. f0/0 doesnt need to be up for the ports to work (although I didnt
try registering the ports with f0/0 down.. will try that next)

This
all seems to work as I expected, depends on what your goal is with the
redundancy. I need to figure out if there is any tinkering I can do with
timers to make the routing switch over faster on a failure.

Our
requirement was for redundant links, so that network ops can upgrade software
on their equipment and not cause an outtage, (as well as cover for certain
hardware failures) . If your power supply goes bad, this doesnt help much :)
