connecting it via an FXO and FXS interface without success.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

the FXS, the voice port shows "off-hook" as soon as I jack it into the
gateway.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

out with this? I know I'm missing a fundamental understanding of how this needs
