SCCPxx.x. I've been asked why we don't change the firmware on our phones
to SIP. I've been doing some reading on this but theres a few simple
things I don't understand. To switch an IP phone from SCCP to SIP or
MGCP, can I just apply that firmware or are there other considerations or pre-reqs?
Do I need to purchase a different phone that will only run SIP firmware?
Is there a comparison sheet out there that shows the pro's and con's for
each of these types? I'd love to run SIP firmware only for the ease of
reading sniffer traces. </span></font> <br>
