have feature codes and MGCP you do not. Feature codes allow you to do call
pickup, speed dials, etc. So if you are using analog phones, then you may
especially want to use SCCP. Otherwise, either will do. I don’t believe
fax-relay is supported for SCCP on the VG224, but I’m not 100% certain on
that. If true and you need to do faxing over a WAN connection using G729 you
are out of luck and would have to use MGCP or use G711 with passthrough for at
least the fax calls.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
