We reboot once a month. We just found too many
issues that were resolved by a reboot that we begun to do it proactively. I'm
not sure if that makes it any less reliable, but it certainly does make it
more maintenance heavy. Our switches are rebooted once every four months if we
can, once every 8 months at a minimum. We are a University, so our major
maintenance focuses around the end of semester.

Just curious. How often do you find yourself rebooting
CCM? As an example, in one year, how often have you rebooted your CCM
boxes? Or the switches that run the phones? I am trying to
generate a report that shows Cisco VOIP is as dependable as a traditional
PBX.

Thanks!
