<div>So, it looks like the dial-peer can not be up with just the port command, it has to have something else in it to work (like <strong>incoming called-number .</strong>) In the case where i had no port command in the dial-peer, the dial-peer was up but it wasnt matching anything (looks like the PLAR causes the dialed number to be counted as blank). When I left out the incoming called-number and just had a port statement, the dial-peer was down (so I didnt get a match that way either). So its not actually matching anything with the incoming called-number . , but that needs to be there for the dial-peer to be UP.

I need to get the inbound dialpeer nailed down, because when I put the rest of my dial-peers in, it inevitably chooses another dial-peer in my config and uses that destination-patters as an incorrect number for the callerID.

Maybe this doesnt work because its a PLAR configuration.. But then when I tried the voice-port, that should have matched. Its the the port that is ringing in and its the first dial-peer in the config.
