No, an IP address conflict wouldn't manifest itself in this way.

Thanks for the reply though.

On 9/13/06, Lelio Fulgenzi <

hearing other users' calls

I was contacted by a business that has an ICS7750 running CCM
3.3.2. They are having a strange problem. A user will be on a
external call and begin hearing audio from another separate call between a
different IP phone and external caller. According to the customer, only
the IP phone users can hear each others conversations, the external parties do
not know its happening. The problem is random but has been happening for
quite a while. I'm told that when it happens, the other call is not
muffled or softer but sounds loud and clear.

My first thought is that
they have a wiring issue with their analog lines but I would think the PSTN
end of the call would notice the problem as well if this were the
problem.

I'm not sure how this could happen on the IP side of
the call but since its a 7750 running old code I thought I'd ask.

If anyone has any thoughts or has experienced a similar problem,
please let me know.

The MRP is running 12.2(4r)XM, I haven't been able
to get into the SSP yet.

thanks

--
kris
