Beginning with CM 5.0(4.1000.1), aka 5.0(4), the appliance now requires
signed upgrade files. 5.0(4a) is not signed. It is the same execution
code as 5.0(4.1000.1) with a few changes to the installation script.<br>
<br>
Sounds like some troubleshooting is in order. Then we can identify a
specific issue and get you an engineering special installer. All
5.0(4) engineering specials are signed and will install with 5.0(4) or
5.0(4a).<br>

the latest service release for
CallManager 5. I put the TAR file on a CD, and when I try to upgrade, I
get a
message that states that for this level of CallManager, I need to have
a signed
file. The current system version is 5.0.4.1000-1 and I am trying to
upgrade to
the service release 5.0.4.2000<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
