DBL is responsible for determining which SQL server is currently available (publisher,local,other subs in that order) and sending read/write requests to that SQL database.<DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>It has 3 interfaces:</DIV><DIV>dblx.dll - an ActiveX interface used by IIS for CCMAdmin,CCMUser,AXL to access dbl.dll</DIV><DIV>dbl.dll -- C++ inteface</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>dblr.dll and dblrt.dll - business rules that run under Microsoft Transaction Server / COM+.</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>We have historically seen issues where there files are held in use during upgrade and cannot be renamed/replaced so they are replaced on the next reboot by window's file in use mechanism.
