make sure the carrier is 'network side' for d-channel signaling<br>
make sure the carrier provides clock<br>
If you're hoping to use MGCP backhaul to CM you don't want NFAS as CM
does not support it.<br>
"National" or "NI2" or "NI3" d-channel signaling or ISDN protocol is
generally the best.<br>
Find out what the physical model of the CO switch and the version it is
running if possible as not all ISDN protocol stacks are created equal.<br>
