mentioned it gives you a broader view from other players in the VoIP market.
I was actually surprised (because I don’t know any better) by the
number of people that were buzzing around the Avaya booth. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

CIPTUG better because they are more specific to things I am working with on a
daily basis. The workshops at VoiceCon for me were average. The
highlight of the conference was the keynote by Cisco CEO John Chambers.
The guy is a phenomenal speaker and can really work a room. In
contrast Avaya’s FORMER CEO, Don Peterson, gave a keynote the following
day that was not quite as inspiring. He did however have one funny slide
during his keynote ( Cisco 7960 IP phone, SIP load – Avaya Logo on the
screen ). His comment was if this can happen then anything is possible.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
