<DIV><BR></DIV>Personally I don't like them. All they really do is cover you
in case of a power supply failure - they just don't work that well for any
other type of failure (UPS, circuit, etc). If you are looking dual power
supply functionality (covering UPS failure, someone kicking a power cord out,
etc) you have to actually get a dual power supply router or switch.
<BR><BR>Example, switching BACK to AC once power is restored seems to require
the switch/router to reload anyway. If the power supply fails and you are
replacing the switch, no big deal. If you lost power for some other reason and
it flipped to the RPS for DC power, now you have to reboot the switch and get
it back onto AC and off of the RPS before the RPS can protect another device.
