Don't know about the Procurve and QoS, you would have to check with HP...<br><br>However, as long as you can manage the switches and build trunks to phones (for voice and data vlan), it shouldn't be a big deal, just make sure you make the voice vlan the native-vlan for the dot1q trunk.
