</SPAN>7940's (and a few 7960's) have the same problem - where the hookswitch
fails. In most cases, the phones had been deployed to public recreational
facilities where there are indoor pools. I've heard that chlorine can
buildup on the hook-switch mechanism.<SPAN class=232093413-31012007> We
have had others in office buildings experience the same problem to a lesser
