The biggest culprit is the Windows firewall... or some third-party firewall software...<br><br><br><br>Jonathan<br><br><div><span class="gmail_quote">On 2/15/07, <b class="gmail_sendername">Andrew F. Wolfe</b> <<a href="mailto:deadpool.slayer.telecomm@gmail.com">

Jonathan, I did the telnet test. I guess what I am asking here is that I know what the issue is (
i.e. it is being blocked at the desktop level) I am just asking for possible applications that may block those ports. See, I am not on site, and trying to get them to send me the output of an msinfo32 so that I can see what services are running and what programs are installed is proving challenging. If anyone can let me know what other programs and services they have run into that have blocked communication on these ports that would be helpful. Thanks.

<br>
As many of you may have experienced this, I want to pose to you a question of
what application or problem did you find that caused the issue? I thought
that it may be the Windows Firewall service, but when we stop and disable the
service the issue still occurs. Would like to know if anyone has found
other applications that have caused this. Trying to cover all bases
here. Thanks. </span></font></p></span></div>
