Because it shares a MAC address on both links, if the switch sees a MAC address on two switches, it presumes a spanning tree loop... With NFT you can put them on separate switches, but only one link is active.<br><br>I misspoke earlier, If you want load balancing, they have to be on the same switch.

It depends on which 7825...<br><br>I successfully did it with NFT on an HP DL320 (7825-H1)... You set up the int as NFT and it creates a new interface that you assign an IP to... Make sure both cables are plugged into the same switch.
