<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I am trying to cleanup an inherited
MOH Multicast Configuration. </font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">They have 2 out 3 servers enabled for
Multicast. (MOH Server config page) They also have entered hop counts
for 8 different audio sources for BOTH servers. </font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">The Cisco documentaion states: </font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">"For Cisco SRST multicast MOH,
only one audio source can be used, even if, for example, one out of 500
sites uses Cisco SRST multicast MOH." </font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Another section of the doc states "An
audio source is selected by inputting the audio source's maximum number
of hops."</font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I interpret this to mean that on the
MOH Servers configuration screen that there should only be one multicast
audio source with a hop count entered. I also interpret this to
mean that there is no reason to have 8 audio sources configured for multicast
when the server can only be used with one source. </font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Can anyone confirm what I have stated
above?</font>
<br>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">On a related note: Is there anyway
to have a remote office play 2 different MOH files for different sets of
phones? Our WAN does not support multicast at this time so I am thinking
SRST local streaming for the biggest group of users at the remote site
and unicast from Call Mgr for the other users.</font>
<br>

this stuff please comment.</font>
