You did the right thing... if the PAK is not being accepted by the website, then you need to send an email to licensing@cisco.com

Easy enough, they usually get back to you within an hour or two...

Just make sure you send them the PAK, the MAC-address of the CCM (go to IPT Platform and then show network (can't remember off the top of my head), and see what MAC is there...)

And yes, you need to do this every time you get a new device...

It would be nice if you could get cisco to consolidate license files (I have one customer with nearly 100 of them for their server (they keep buying phones one by one as they get a new employee and you can't upload a zip of licenses..)

Hi, i have just bought a new ccm 5.0(4).
I have received the hardware 7825i2-K9.
I have completed the installation and when the system was ready i had
to deal with the licenses!!!

I had a Cisco User Entitlement USOL-SE-K9 and LIC-CM-DL-100.
Each of these 2 packets had a PAK (The same as the serial number
outside of the box)
I went to the page cisco says: www.cisco.com/go/license
since i am CCO user and i entered the PAK that i had:

NOTHING HAPPENED. THE SYSTEM DOES NOT ACCEPT IT.

I emailed to licensing@cisco. com and i am waiting for a response.

Will this happen every time i buy a new license for a new customer?
Has anyone manage to do this from the first time?
Why the format of the PAK that the paper that CISCO send me, does not
match with the format cisco propose in the site?
Why does cisco invented all this licensing system if it is not working
and especially with the 5.x versions that license is so important?

Thanks
Anthony
