Thanks Justin. I was just going to reply to the list about that. I tried
that and it registered. I must have misread my old config, I will have to
review it, I don't think it had an 'ip domain name' config statement.

It took a while with the nested pre-requisites, but I finally got things
back to the way they were. I will try again in the morning to see what steps
I have to take to get things working again.

----- Original Message -----
From: "Justin Steinberg" <jsteinberg@gmail.com>
To: "Lelio Fulgenzi" <lelio@uoguelph.ca>
Cc: <cisco-voip@puck.nether.net>
Sent: Wednesday, May 09, 2007 10:01 PM
Subject: Re: [cisco-voip] can't register new gateway

> Is your gateway name configured as
>
> vgw-kemptville.net.uoguelph.ca
>
> I see you mentioned that you put the domain name in the description
> field, but the domain name should be concatenated with the hostname
> and the entire string is used as the device name for the mgcp gw
> configuration in ccmadmin.
>
>
> On 5/9/07, Patrick Mowry <pmowry@getgds.com> wrote:
>> >From your config:
>> no network-clock-participate wic 0
>> no network-clock-participate wic 1
>>
>> I think this may be keeping the controller configs from ccm-manager
>> download from taking effect.
