Hi,

I've got a 2851 here that terminates one E1-line (ISDN PRI) for voice
that has some DSPs inserted (see show inventory below).

Can anyone tell me how many DSPs I need for this E1 and how many of them
can I use in a DSPfarm for transcoding and conference briding? I've
found some documentation about how many XCODE-sessions these DSPs can
handle, but nothing about the ones used for the ISDN termination.

Thanks in advance

Jörg

Show inventory gives this output:
---------------
NAME: "2851 chassis", DESCR: "2851 chassis"
PID: CISCO2851 , VID: V03 , SN: FTX1107A4QC

NAME: "Four port FXS DID voice interface daughtercard on Slot 0 SubSlot
0", DESCR: "Four port FXS DID voice interface daughtercard"
PID: VIC-4FXS/DID= , VID: 3.1, SN: FOC103324K3

NAME: "VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 - 2-Port RJ-48 Multiflex Trunk - T1/E1 on Slot 0
SubSlot 1", DESCR: "VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 - 2-Port RJ-48 Multiflex Trunk - T1/E1"
PID: VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 , VID: V01 , SN: FOC10273FY4

NAME: "PVDMII DSP SIMM with three DSPs on Slot 0 SubSlot 4", DESCR:
"PVDMII DSP SIMM with three DSPs"
PID: PVDM2-48 , VID: V01 , SN: FOC11050MBR

NAME: "PVDMII DSP SIMM with four DSPs on Slot 0 SubSlot 5", DESCR:
"PVDMII DSP SIMM with four DSPs"
PID: PVDM2-64 , VID: V01 , SN: FOC10482Q30

NAME: "PVDMII DSP SIMM with four DSPs on Slot 0 SubSlot 6", DESCR:
"PVDMII DSP SIMM with four DSPs"
PID: PVDM2-64 , VID: V01 , SN: FOC10482Q38

NAME: "NM-SE on Slot 1", DESCR: "NM-SE"
PID: NM-CUE , VID: V03, SN: FOC11045YTG

NAME: "40GB IDE Disc Daughter Card on Slot 1 SubSlot 0", DESCR: "40GB
IDE Disc Daughter Card"
PID: , VID: , SN: FOC11053WB3
------------

_______________________________________________
cisco-voip mailing list
cisco-voip@puck.nether.net
https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-voip
